NEXTLOGIC (Next-Generation Urban Freight Logistics for Net-Zero Emissions through Innovative Solutions) is a Horizon Europe Innovation Action supporting cities in their transition to climate neutrality by rethinking how urban space, mobility and logistics are planned and managed.
The project combines Digital Twins, eXtended Reality (XR) and advanced data analytics to enable cities to co-design, test and implement innovative solutions such as zero-emission urban microhubs, smart loading and unloading zones, 15-minute multimodal hubs, and incentive-based behavioural change mechanisms.
Deployed and validated in eight European Mission Cities, NEXTLOGIC empowers local authorities, logistics operators and citizens to collaboratively optimise the movement of people and goods, improve the use of public space, and reduce emissions, contributing to more liveable, efficient and climate-neutral cities by 2030.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 101238585.
