Our Outreach Group

The NEXTLOGIC Outreach Group (NOG) brings together stakeholders to support knowledge exchange and the wider uptake of project results. It includes representatives from research, industry, city authorities and policy networks working on sustainable urban mobility and logistics. Members contribute through selected consultations, workshops and dissemination activities, providing feedback, external perspectives and links to broader European initiatives. The Outreach Group supports stakeholder engagement beyond the consortium and contributes to the development, implementation and replication of project solutions.

Why joining the NOG?

NOG members contribute to, and benefit from, the NEXTLOGIC project by:

  • Providing expert feedback on project concepts, solutions, tools and deliverables related to sustainable urban freight logistics and urban space management;
  • Contributing perspectives from practice and policy, ensuring real-world relevance and applicability of project outcomes;
  • Engaging in targeted consultations, workshops, and webinars;
  • Anticipating deployment, governance, and market challenges related to Digital Twins, smart loading zones, microhubs and other innovative urban logistics solutions;
  • Enhancing visibility and networking with a European community of cities, logistics stakeholders, researchers, technology providers and policy makers.

Participation in the NOG is non-commercial, non-binding, and free of charge.

Who should apply?

We welcome applications from individual experts and representatives of organisations with experience or interest in one or more of the following areas:

  • Municipalities, cities and public authorities;
  • Urban planning, mobility planning and public space management;
  • Logistics operators, freight stakeholders and delivery service providers;
  • Industry, technology providers and digital innovation companies;
  • Policy makers, regulation and public administration;
  • Research organisations, universities, research centres and think tanks;
  • Civil society organisations, NGOs and citizen associations active in sustainable mobility, urban development or environmental issues.

Geographical diversity, gender balance and cross-sectoral representation will be actively encouraged.

What is expected from NOG members?

  • Participate in selected online workshops, webinars, surveys or consultations (typically 1–3 per year);
  • Provide constructive feedback on NEXTLOGIC solutions, tools, methodologies and results relevant to their expertise;
  • Act as multipliers, helping disseminate project results and opportunities within their professional networks;
  • Respect confidentiality, data protection requirements and ethical principles where applicable.

What do NOG members gain?

  • Visibility and acknowledgement in NEXTLOGIC communication activities and public events (subject to consent);
  • Early access to selected project insights, results and non-confidential outputs;
  • Invitations to project workshops, webinars, stakeholder consultations and networking opportunities;
  • Dedicated capacity-building and knowledge-sharing opportunities related to sustainable urban freight, Digital Twins and urban logistics innovation;
  • An opportunity to contribute to and influence the uptake, replication, governance and future development of innovative urban logistics solutions.
